I guess I'm creating this blog because of vanity.  The notion of posting something you've written on the internet so that THE WORLD will read it seems a touch like self adoration.  Nonetheless, I am embarking on this blogging thing without really expecting to have an audience, but then why would I be posting this to the internet.

Posting to the internet is the only true test to determine if you are an asshole.  There's nothing like an anonymous mass of unruly people to truly tell if you are blowing smoke out of your dick hole.  For me, the internet is often a concentrated rage that I can intoxicate myself with like someones serving fish bowl margaritas at the sorority pledge event.  You can read something for the sole purpose of getting off on how ignorant people are and it makes you feel great.  I guess that's what I'm trying to get at by writing this blog is whether I have something to say that actually interests people or if I'm just a run of the mill pretentious internet prick.

I don't know exactly what form this blog will take yet but I think it will just be a place for me to organize my thoughts on certain subjects.  I'll probably end up posting things about movies I've seen or books I've been reading or my thoughts on other things like that.  If you have something to add, let me know.  If you think I'm a fuck, let me know.  If I'm lucky, this will just get washed away into the caustic industrial vat of the internet that is reserved for child pornography, conspiracy theories, and all the other self indulgent bloggers.
